Midstates are throwing a Halloween Party and all are invited. Everyday is Hallow-Xplo will feature local groups performing as someone else, and artists creating work as someone else (as well as dressing up!). Doors at 6:30pm, show starts promptly at 7pm (when LMNOP will take the stage). Come have a great time and help us raise funds for next year's A/V Xplo feastival!
We encourage you to dress up and take part as well! Tickets are $10 in advance via the Subterranean site or $12 at the door.

Visual art & music are family. Come witness the best in underground art & music have a family reunion in the center of our nation: Chicago. We’ve invited music from the coasts and the best visual art from the underground to join us so you can see & hear the now & future over 4 days this August.
4 Days, 4 venues, over 100 artists.

What Makes the A/V XPLO different?
Permanent music adventurers, Midstates (Chicago’s premiere independent and underground music concern) Art Director Tony Vega (supreme film & television director/producer) as well as the 28 other music outfits and over 100 visual artists are joining together to show you what is next. The XPLO work with the best innovators. This will be a 4 day trek of discovery and party.

Specifically?
Paintings, Sculpture, Film, Video, Photography, Screen Prints, Mixed Media and all other forms of expression will be on display for you to see and hear. It's a cornucopia of everything creative in Chicago that you probably don't know about. It will be so overwhelming that you will need to mentally and physically prepare yourself because the Xplo is just that, an explosion of color, space, shape and sound.
